Enrollment form is here.

You can now update your settings to have the Orthosnap team automatically order the continuation batch of aligners when the patient's orthodontic progress is tracking as planned.

What is a continuation order?

Orthosnap manufactures patient aligners in batches instead of all aligners upfront. Aligners are usually ordered in batches of 5 or 10 steps at a time. If there are complications or compliance issues, we can perform a mid-course correction and adjust the treatment plan, instead of waiting for the end of treatment to perform lengthy refinements.

The purpose is to save chair time, finish treatment faster, and make clear aligner therapy more efficient.

The continuation order is the next batch of aligners in the treatment plan.

Currently, doctors are notified when it's time to order the continuation batch of aligners and then they are asked to visit the Orthosnap portal to place the order.

With an automatic continuation order the order for the next batch of aligners will be placed for the doctor based upon the evaluation of case progress.

How it works

  1. The patient must be enrolled in Dental Monitoring® and regularly scanning at the requested intervals.

  2. At the end of each wear cycle, your patient will scan their teeth with Dental Monitoring.

  3. For a 5 step batch, we'll evaluate case progress after the 3rd step.

  4. For a 10 step batch, we'll evaluate case progress after the 7th step.

  5. At this interval, your clinical account manager will evaluate the case. If the case is tracking as expected, we'll email you a notification that the next batch will be manufactured and shipped to your practice.

  6. You'll have a 24 hr grace period to intervene and cancel the manufacturing.

Important to Note

By enrolling in automatic continuation orders, the clear aligner provider must enroll in the program and take financial responsibility for the new aligners that are manufactured.
