If you are a patient using Orthosnap aligners and have questions or concerns about your treatment, please direct them to your Dentist or Orthodontist. They are the licensed provider responsible for your care and are the center of treatment decisions.
The patient's dentist is the only person authorized to evaluate your dental condition, perform clinical procedures, and discuss the case with you. They are also the only ones who can discuss your case with the lab, diagnostics, or specialists, including a system like Orthosnap.
Each of the three roles, Patient, Doctor, and Aligner Co are critical in achieving a successful outcome, and each role has important responsibilities:
The Patient plays a critical and active role in this process, which takes many months and depends on various factors, most crucially, your compliance with wearing the aligners for 22 out of 24 hours a day.
The Dentist or Orthodontist provider's role is to diagnose, recommend, deliver, and manage treatment. They sit at the center of all treatment decisions and direct care to adapt to the unique circumstances of each case.
The Aligner Co. is responsible for manufacturing aligners to the dentist's specifications. While we at Orthosnap have extensive experience in patient care and Orthodontics, our role is to serve the dentist with the best product, tools, and guidance possible to deliver the best care.
We realize that sometimes patients may want to reach out to Orthosnap for advice or feedback, but we must follow the correct path of communication so that we don't interfere with the dentist's treatment plan and relationship with the patient.
By understanding each of our roles and responsibilities, the Dentist, the Patient, and the Aligner Co can work together to ensure a successful and efficient outcome!
