‼️Disclaimer: OrthoSnap does not currently have the ability to automatically CC other email addresses in your office.
In this article, we’ll show you how to set up email forwarding to other addresses in your office, so you don’t have to manually CC every email. This example uses Gmail, but the steps are similar for other email providers.
Step-by-Step Guide: Automatically Forward Emails in Gmail
Log in to your Gmail account and click the Settings button, then select See all settings.
Go to the Forwarding and POP/IMAP tab, then click Add a forwarding address.
Enter the email address where you want your messages to be automatically forwarded.
After adding the address, you’ll receive a confirmation email. Open it and click the confirmation link to verify.
Once confirmed, make sure Forwarding is set to disabled (we’ll use filters to control forwarding).
Next: Create a filter to specify which emails you want forwarded to that address.
How to Set Up Email Forwarding with a Filter in Gmail
Go to See all settings again, then click on Filters and Blocked Addresses, and select Create a new filter.
Enter the email address of the sender (person or company) whose emails you want to forward, then click Create filter.
Check the box Forward it to: and select the email address where you want these emails forwarded. Click Create filter again.
Gmail may ask you to verify the forwarding email again. Once verified, your filter is active, and emails from that sender will be automatically forwarded.
